Johore Bahru 1966 - Hoong Po (still in JB), Roem (all over the world, now finally back in KL), Willie (Canberra, Australia since 1969), Ranthir (UK, now Melbourne) - still best friends today and forever. Nothing new about 1Malaysia!
I have missed your writings. We're so sorry for being terribly quiet. We've finally settled down here in KSA. Alhamdulillah, we love it here. I cried in the beginning, prior to the move. And I think Hardy will have a tough time asking me to leave later, when the time comes!
Beautiful friendships have made in such a short period of time. Have met lovely people from all around the world! I can only imagine the friendships you have made during your days serving Malaysia all around the globe. I have enjoyed meeting all types of people here and we're ever so grateful.
I LOVE this photo of you and your friends. I get all sentimental seeing old photos, especially black and white photos! Its wonderful to know despite the distance and the years, you guys are still best of friends. a lovely photo with lovely people (i'm sure) in it.
We'll keep in touch. Here's sending you all the love and best wishes in the world!
Thanks Zaza, good to hear from you and all is well. Well the haj season is on and I'm sure you will be meeting a lot of people from Malaysia too. My brother Yahya and his wife is leaving for the haj, their 3rd ( they go every 10 years) this Wednesday from my house. Hope your parents are with you already, please kirim my salam to them. And I hope Aidan is coping with the heat! Salam.
